1. Who we are

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and that it accepts these Terms.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your credentials or allow others to use your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) infringe others' rights; (c) upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service; (d) scrape, crawl, or use automated means without our prior written consent; (e) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; (f) use the Service to generate or share unlawful, harmful, or offensive content; or (g) circumvent usage limits.

5. User content & license

You may submit content to the Service (for example, quiz answers, notes, profile details). You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and otherwise use your content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. You are responsible for your content, and you represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

6. Educational content & results

The Service may include quizzes, courses, recommendations, and progress tracking. Educational content is provided for informational and training purposes only and may not be accurate, complete, or up to date. Scores, recommendations, or feedback are not guarantees of performance.

7. Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.

8. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to operate the Service, including hosting (e.g., Vercel), authentication and database (e.g., Supabase), and OAuth providers (e.g., Google, GitHub, Microsoft/Azure). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies.

9. Subscriptions & fees (if applicable)

If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees disclosed at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, charges are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice, and any change will apply to subsequent billing cycles.

10. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use, and share information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we will process your information as described there.

11. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service and all related intellectual property rights. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights in and to the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (II) USD $100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., by posting to the Site or emailing you). The updated Terms will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
